In some ways I see it as a bit of an opposite to Moon – particularly in it’s colour palette. In a three root combination Moon and Flower compliment each other well as Flower brings softness and balance to an outfit with a Moon root and Moon can bring out some interest and a more mature representation of the Flower Style root.

The Flower style root can also bring balance to a look that has the Fire style root. The modesty inherent in the Flower style root can soften Fire so that it is feminine without being overly provocative.

The sweetness and innocence is where the Flower root leans “girly”, but Flower is also elegant and graceful, making it a great pairing with Mushroom. Think understated pearls: bringing a girly component to an old money aesthetic.

Flower is what is most often overlooked with edgier styles and I think that’s because it’s part of the Regina George and Cher Horowitz style identity, but it can be so much more.
